Confessions of a 40k Addict
« on: September 16, 2013, 06:17:47 AM »
HI guys, my blog http://40kaddict.blogspot.com has been going for nearly three years now. I'm a big hobbyist, like to create my own terrain, mainly from foamboard and started the blog so I would have somewhere to share the templates I created to make my buildings with the wider community.

The hobby can be expensive but when I started gaming in the 80's/90's making your won stuff was mandatory so when I fell off the wagon a few years ago I was happier to invest my time in terrain instead of my limited funds and was keen to share the templates free with other gamers so they can get into the hobby rather than be put off for the sake of a decent table.

I also got to share my WiP pictures of my armies, kitbashing and scratchbuilding tutorials. I started playing more games so battle-reports followed and I even started to write fluff explaining why my figures are painted the way they are. Then I decided that all the little gaming aids I'd designed for my own use - wound and Pychic Power markers,  would also be handy to share freely with the community. All you need to do is print them out and stick them to card. Easier to keep track of than dice and if you lose them just make some more.

Anyway, check it out, print stuff out and build things, hope you like it.
