Love the pics and the bat rep, just have to ask, is there anyway you can re-size the pics down, Seems you cannot scroll over to see parts of them till you reach the bottom of the post.

Sorry about the large pics. Ill try and make them smaller in the future, its the actual camera that I am using.... high quality and all.

Anyhow. I have been considering a few changes to my Kill Team... and I think I have come up with a solution.

Trueborn will be a mainstay. The new rules prevent a model from splitting their fire all the time (unless they are a specialist with the special rule) so things like carbines will be useful to have to make sure a target is dead dead... 3 shots... And then you can assault if needed. Also considering haywire grenades as an anti tank option.

Lastly, I think a raider will be a welcome addition to the kill team... with a dissintegrator cannon.

the pics are great, I understand the camera part as I am trying to get some better pics of my own and am using a camera that is really a HD camcorder that can take stills as well, I'm hit or miss in terms of the results (some look perfect and others look like great on the view screen but on my computer they look like mosaic blobs of color, and I noticed myself that when I viewed them on my computer they were huge as well. but I am hoping that I might be able to just do a single re-size in Photoshop of maybe 50% and be able to retain a decent level of quality and detail, usually that works for me.

My Killteam Changed:
3 Trueborn 2 Splinter Cannon - 3 x haywires
Venom, Night Shield, dual cannon
7 Kabalite Warriors

My opponent:

10 Imperial Guard Veterans, 3 plasmas, carapace
5 Ratlings

The Third and Final Kill Team Game for the January Escalation Challenge! I played Evan and his Imperial Guard Kill Team. I modified my KT slightly to suit my learning curve:


Venom with dual cannon and night shields *specialist* - Split fire
3 Trueborn, haywire grenades - 2 splinter cannons *specialists* Relentless and Feel No Pain
Third one was the LEADER he rolled "a cunning ruse"
Red Shirts - 7 Kabalite Warriors with splinter rifles.


The Imperial Guard
10 Carapace Veterans, 3 Plasma Guns *2 are specialist, tank hunter and fnp*
Sargeant is the leader- Steal initiative on a 4+
5 Ratling Snipers *Specialist, relentless*

The Battlefield:


The Mission! - Supply Drop. we placed 6 objectives, they then scatter. Only one objective is worth 3 points, the others nothing. You check them at the end of a movement phase, on a 6 you find the one! (its this or the last one searched if no 6 is rolled)

Deployment:


Turn 1-
The imperial guard moved up after stealing the initiative! Shooting was innefective. The Dark Eldar kept 5 kabalite warriors in outflanking reserve thanks to the leaders cunning ruse. In retaliation the Dark Eldar slay one ratling and force another to go to ground. There are 2 objectives left to search after this turn, one in the far corner of the IG deployment one near the DE side in the open.


Turn 2-
Imperial Guard shooting is innefective once again... but does force the kabalite warrior on the flank to go to ground. In response the dark eldar cunning plan is sprung with all 5 kabalites arriving via outflank! 4 come in on the far edge:

One arrives near the objective in the enemy deployment zone. His job is to search the crate in the enemy zone and hope its a decoy to force the objective near the DE. Dark Eldar shooting this turn is effective, killing one plasma gunner and a veteran on the one flank, and 3 ratling snipers! - This earns the Dark Eldar a pain token for the kill team!


Turn 3 and 4-
The Imperial guard suceed in moving to kill a trueborn. The far objective is searched by the sneaky kabalite, and its a decoy! this forces the objective by the DE to become the vital drop... this has put a wrench in the imperial guards plan... they must move out of cover and into the sights of the pirate guns.


Turn 5-6
The game goes on! Taking break tests, the Imperial Guard Leader shoots himself rather than becoming a slave. The two remaining guardsmen try to take as many with them as they can!


The Dark Eldar leader begins to salvage the vital supplies for the killteam deep in enemy lines.


Dark Eldar victory!!!
