This morning I downloaded all 61 pictures from this battle report to add to my video as well as move to my blog. This extra report will include our commentary from our FB group. I think it adds a lot and gives more insight into how we play our 40K/30K games.

I've also started painting a few more Killa Kans that have been sitting around. 3 with Grotzookas! I have a 5th I need to scroung up a base for and it will also get a grot Zooka.

I'm thinking about a brake from 40K till next year My friend with the White Scars and I haven't been able to find a day to play. But anything can happen.

lol. I'm glad you've enjoyed all my shtuff.
I never know exactly when I'm going to get to play. But I think I can manage a few pictures over my brake. I'm just not expecting to be able to play until after the new year. And that's only a few week anyway. haha.

Remember how I said I never know when I'm going to be able to play... Well there may be a game on Monday against Tau. 2500 points.
If it happens then I'll post about it. Tempted to push 3 Green tides. Just because it's Tau and all 3 could potentially infiltrate. and there's a temptation to out flank one of them..Or maybe two. Just because. I need to win at least one game this year against the fish heads!

Sweet squig eaters!! Three tides would be a sight to behold, I've never seen such a thing... Or heard of it in all honesty. Have you ever tried that before? :')

I know!  A year and some change ago I spend some money on more Boys, after having tried the green tide. We play big games mostly. (Although the last few 1850 games have been a blast!)
I had one green tide and set up a second full of shootas. So I had two. well. I have 8 full mobs of slugga boys. and more shoota boys collected but not finished or even built. Just more boys than any sane man should own. But as you know, or are learning ... Once you get locked into a serious Ork collection... the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
So I have orks for all occasions.

I'm glad you enjoyed that second version of the Battle Report.  It's so much better with the banter. Hopefully before the new year I'll have the video up with all the pictures stuck in. I've just got swamped with upkeep on my property. Which canceled the scheduled game. But that's just how it goes when trees fall on buildings.  But it's all good. Hope to have tit mostly cleaned up before Christmass.

Hurry up with that spanna boy video!!!

I found this Orc video on Youtube landia. It's an interesting incite into where I think GW was actually going with this current Codex Orks.
Also it pokes wholes in my thinking that there is an Ork language and that any time Orks are speaking to something not an Ork they are just speaking as best they can, to be understood. Which is a bit of a shame. I really like the idea of an actual Ork language all their own that nonOrks simply are incapable of speaking or don't comprehend. Most of that is in relationship to the Orks mouth and teef. getting in the way of forming human words correctly. Or..Maybe they can but not doing so is meant to annoy the humans.. it's a complicated subject to be sure.. I'm all around probably wrong.

After reading a thread over at Dakka Dakka I had a thought. A member there mentioned infiltrating Tank Bustas in trukks. At first this seemed wrong to me then I remembered that a unit with the Infiltration special rule confers it to their transport. At least that's what I remember... It hit me, why not burna boys? It's flimsy I think. but if, nd it's a big IF?, I can infiltrate 2 or 3 units like that. Move 6, get out 6 then burninate. But the effectiveness might not be too high. being only an 8" template. maybe not the most powerful ideal but maybe hugely bothersome. Imagine 12 burnas suddenly that close to you front line. And they're just one of 3 infiltrating nasty units. My second would be 15 tankbustas on foot and either a Green tide, for that second turn assault or 30 shoota boys. because they cost less points than another elite choice.
Next. I'me rethinking the Weirdboy. I'm thinking about using daemonoligy to try for ? Hammer hand? to give the tide +2 to ST. which should ruin someones day. Maybe trying to add in a Big Mek with a Luckystick for WA5 Orks....WS5, ST5 That could be fantastic. I need to look at the warlord traits again to see what else is in there that would buff the tide.

Just about finished with another 29 Ork Boys. these were started last year. finishing models later seems to be working very well. Another 29 will get some more paint this evening.
I have yet another 29 also for after that. would be stellar if I can get these all "done" by the end of this month. haha.
I follow loads of Ork threads on a few forums. this keeps me thinking about ...ork stuff.
So, if 30 Orks is 180 points and 10 Nobs is 180 points. which is better? Or, the ever dreaded "is it worth it?"
I've only used a Nobs Mob a hand full of times ever. (over nearly 20 years...sad face?)
The last time I used them. The were amazing! Even though I blundered wit them. Maybe I'll set up another 10 Nobs for a mob. I may have parts for that in my bitz box.

I have a new army build bubbling on the back burner right now. I'm thinking about trying mrogorks boss boys... ( Is that his name?)
Addin Da Finking Kap. and a few other Out flanking units. I'm thinking  Mounted up in vehicles..Ah, almost forgot adding the Battle Wagon formation as well... Let's see what this looks like and how nasty it can get.

Thanks for the share on that video. Interested stuff was learned after finding that channel from you! ^^

Also congrats on getting more Ork boyz done. Though like you said they're always more to be done. ;)

Ork nobs are fantastic models! I would like to use them much more than I do but I just can't get them to survive these days. They cost too much to make them effective I.E transports, turning them into bikers etc. And only being T4 with rubbish saves without them. In this day and age there are waay to many weapons that just wipe blobs of them out instantly. Like imperial knights with rapid battle cannons. So more normal boyz are normally the better way to go.

I also miss the fact Warbosses can't make them troops anymore. :(

That video really put things into perspective for me. haha. We're just scum. ...
But so what! We're cool!

Just about done with all the slugga boys. I might be 2 short of the total 90. so I have to scrounge around my bit for a few more. I know I have some in there.
After that I think I'll start on another 30 shoota boys. Which are in a box with a bunch more. No idea how many just lots of them.

If all goes to plan I'll be headed out for a good game this weekend.  I'm planning to put no effort into my list and just see how it goes while catching up with an old friend who's also suppose to be there. (I'll let him win...?Right? )

About the Nobs. I have to seriously count what I have and see. I know I have 20 or 22 with power Klaws but realistically I need a bunch with just choppas and sluggas to fill out the nobs mob. I just have to figure out which ones go where and what's left over and then see what's in my bitz box. Maybe 4 or 5 more from a trade a few years ago.
