board control

I started this thought on a different thread but need to finish it. Inquisition can really control the board. If you take inqusition as your primary, you can reroll the warlord trait. Check. Are there any traits worth taking? Consider the witch hunter trait 6 master or interrogation. No infiltration within 24 inches of your warlord. Boom. Pair this up with 3 servo skulls and you can shut down infiltration and scouting. Stick the witch hunter IQ in a land raider to boost his bubble. As a a standard load out, null rod mandatory. Shuts down the psykers. Best kit in the game. Psyocculum, very good. Bs 10 for him and his unit when shooting at psykers. And 3 servo skulls. Very cheap at 84 points.

Next is synergy. For 30points your warlord can be a psyker. Your choice. The henchmen squad can be whatever you want. Its your allies that make it work. I like to flood the table with cheap henchmen in transports. Fodder.

How this works with grey knights. Storm raven, add in a dreadnaught in the grappels. TL heavy flamer and cc weapon with heavy flamer, ex armor. No other upgrades. Keep it cheap. Inside the stormraven place your termies or strike squad. Incenerators all the way. Add in a hq, the brotherhood champion with a strike squad really works here. Reserve the raven. Deep strike with the servo skull to reduce scatter. And dump out the goodies like a flame throwing scalpel

Take a dreadknight with teleport homer in reserve to deep strike with precision and wreck face

Encourage your opponent to spread out, and reserving the GK stuff keeps it up for a turnor two. Paired with the board control, they have to move the old fashioned way. It is a secondary alpha strike. More subtle and precise.

Like your effort and ideas.
But never load termies or strike squads into the raven, as they can deepstrikes by themselves and its to many eggs in the basket. Plus you need them asap for the alpha strike. So round 1 with NSF. Purifiers would make sense though.
