Proteus' Raven Guard
« on: January 11, 2015, 01:47:21 AM »
Alright, time to get something on here. I plan on making this a sort of "as I go" collection of my work. I'm not the best painter, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve, and I'm learning a couple more as I go.

So, to kick it off, I present Karius!

This guy has been a staple of my Space Marine armies for ages. I've not had much reason to change the model, but since my skills have grown, I've added details. The scrollwork on the leg plate, RG symbol, and all other numbering and lettering is of course, freehand.

Any questions on "how I did it", just ask! :)

"We are all Raven Guard. We are all warriors. The Emperor will not judge you by your medals and diplomas but by your scars. That is not a platitude; it is the reality of what we are."
-Corax.

Lookin forward to seeing the rest of the army.
Don't try making a unit unkillable. its a waste of time and the dice gods laugh at you for wasting your time. Dedicate a unit to a job and make sure it does it til it's either dead or running.
