Harlequin Conversion Story time
« on: August 07, 2015, 02:49:28 PM »
Greetings all,

I will be using this thread as a sort of "keeping me accountable" tab on myself for my up and coming project. I don't have much time right now, but soon (hopefully later tonight) I will be posting my army list.

How I will be using this:

I will post (hopefully) Weekly progress pictures of my work on my Harlequin units for my new army list idea.

Steps and pieces I will use in the assembly process (I wont be buying the traditional models)

The coloring Process Etc.

Anyway thats all for me now

Cheers!

Attached are what i have so far:

I struck some luck on ebay and was able to grab a box of clowns for stupid cheap.

I then won a local tourney and got 40$...so of course i got another box of clowns for that.

I was already in the process of converting up 12 clowns and a death jester so now i have 24+/- a few for my goofy clown army!

A breakdown of what i have built:

6 regular clowns from the box (gonna add some knick knacks to tie them into the DE-style ones)
12 DE-style clowns
---What i mean by DE is:
I used scourge legs and DE warriors and hellion torso's for the bodies.
I will be using the blank helmets from the reaver jetbike boxes for the helmets (will be using the extra face plates from the harlie boxes to fit them to the blank helmets.
I am using a combo of old Dire Avenger arms, and bitz and pieces from melee eldar units as the harlie's weapons also.

It is a slow moving process for me because I want to do this right, and have them look awesome so bear with me!
