Greetings from Suffolk County NY

Greetins everyone. I am a newer 40k player, I started playing around 11 months ago. I am constantly learning and evolving my strategy on the table top. The armies I have are Space Marines(HawkLords) along with a small force of Blood Angels(just the unique elite units mostly from the deathstorm starter box), Grey Knights and Orks soon to have some Catachans. I primarily play my space marines and gk with the orks being mostly for laughs.

Welcome to the forum. Hawk Lords huh? Have any army pics? I always like seeing a home brewed chapter of space Marines.
Don't try making a unit unkillable. its a waste of time and the dice gods laugh at you for wasting your time. Dedicate a unit to a job and make sure it does it til it's either dead or running.

Here's a pic of one of my devestator squads the army isnt finished yet . Although they arent a homebrew chapter, they are essentially fluffless. So they might aswell be.
