Everyone deserves an update since I've been so quiet. Here's a picture of what my Exocrine is looking like. My colour scheme runs 4 different textures instead of the usual 2 (Sometimes 3), all of which I'm experimenting and learning how to paint and all of which require a stupid number of steps. Anyway, hindsight tells me I've done a number of wasted steps, but I'm really impressed with how it's coming about.

I'm pushing to finish this Exocrine for this month, and then next month I'll work on my assembly line to push out a good number of models and points.

As a teammate, I apologize that my scheme isn't all that good for a volume contest because it has so many steps, but I'm definitely painting more and at a level that I haven't before.

here is the progress on the Gargoyals, all i have left is the final highlights on wings. this is the first time i have painted wings, i hope they turn out good but currently they aret as good as i hoped. its to hard to not get paint brush lines on such a large area.

19/9/14 Completed, personally my favourite feature of these models are the holes i drilled out above the tongue to represent where the blinding venom is spat out.

They look good mate. if you are struggling with brush strokes on the wings then use some of the Lahamium medium from GW (or wahtever it is called) you want 3 part paint to 1 part medium and then you should get no brush marks. May require a few coats depending on the colour you are doing...

Sorry i took these photos a couple of days ago, my next submission is 5 ripper swarms. this is the first unit i have made on the medium size base, dont know if that effects the points of it

22/9
i decided to paint each ripper individually and then glue 4 of them to a base and base it together. since the individual base of the rippers are so small i could not use blu tack to stick them to my spray painting carbord and i would also destroy my blutack by covering it in spray paint. instead i used masking tape as it provided more grip. then i attacked 2 ripers to each of my bottle cap painting bases.

28/9

28/9  COMPLETED 5 Ripper swarms
