He is not getting the quadgun, he can get more if he drops the Devilfish. I am new to Tau and I use the Aegis and I have no Devilfish and it works.

But I was just wondering why.

Why do you have the Aegis Defence Line, if all your Fire Warriors are in Devilfish? You can save some points if you only take 1.

I picked up a large Tau army, I'm trying to sell some of it off and would like to keep at least a 2000 point list. I have about 6000 points, and has about one of everything.
I'm trying to ask to find out what would be a good 2000 point all comers list?

I have played 1 game so far with my new guard,

Company Command Squad
Platoon Command Squad
4 squads
1 vet squad
2 5x man Scions Squad
6 Chimeras (2 with twin-heavy bolters, 4 with auto-cannons)
1 Leman Russ
1 Leman Russ ( the plasma one)
1 Destroyer Tank Hunter
1 Valkyrie
2 Vendetta's

It was a good Mech force, I lost but, It was close.  I think I'm getting a good hang of the army and how it plays, The list I have is supposed to be in all comers list and take on anyone.

Do any of you think it is too strong in one area or lacking something in other areas?

Now I have some questions and I was wondering if someone could answer for me?

1. Can the Master of Ordnance and Officer of the Fleet, use their abilities from inside a vehicle?
2. Can I substitute a Wyvern with a Hydra?
3. Are rough riders any good?

If someone has any advice I would love to hear it.

I have been going over what I have, I will put a list up here. My play style is very fast and aggressive, will I be able to play that way? I see me being mech up and moving fast on the board. (I play Eldar)

Okay I picked up about 50 guardsmen, 50 storm troopers, 2 Leman Russ, 1 Hydra, 2 Valkyrie, 2 Vendetta, 1 Hellhound, 6 Armoured Sentinels, 2 Taurox (not put together), 6 Chimera (2 with twin heavy bolters, 4 with auto cannons), and some more stuff that I'm trying to figure out.
I'm trying to see if I can use the Chimeras. I will put up a full list later

I just picked up a big Imperial Guard army. It has 4 chimera with auto-cannons and one of the Destroyer Tank Hunter in it. Will I be able to play with these?

If I have 2 Farseers, can one be in my Guardian Battle host and my Seer Council? My 2nd will be in my Seer Council.
