Discussion: Eldar / Re: howling banchees without raiders, can it be done?
« on: November 28, 2014, 09:18:56 AM »
I have had some success with them in small groups, (not 1 unit of 10 but 2 units of 5). If they move as one unit they can get to combat. What they do in not that good but they get there. I use 3 units of 5, that attack as one.

    * War Walker Squadron (70pts)
        * War Walker
          2x Brightlance

the list work pretty well I lost but overall it was fun.

the Autarch: lasted two turns, took a lot of fire but in the end died

the Howling Banshees: Moving in one big group made it across the board in close-combat only losing 7 Banshees (There was a lot of other things for them to shoot at that may have helped).

the jetbikes: lasted most of the game even though one whole squad ran off the board.

the war walkers: Worked pretty well I will have to use them again to see if they will work as well.

the Farseer: did almost nothing, the spells didn't work, I wasn't able to get that many off.

I am going to redo the list and try again.

Created with BattleScribe (http://www.battlescribe.net)

The three groups of 5 howling banshee will be running in one large group.
The striking scorpions will infiltrate to look for targets.
The Wraithlords will move forward and support the howling banshees.
The wave serpents are there for long-range support.
Everything else will harass the enemy or hit a flank.
I don't know what to do with the Warlock, I had extra points so..........

Tell me what you think this is supposed to be an assault army.

What if I put them in a wave serpent and have them hit units late game?

If I did that what units do you think I should put it in the list for a 1500 points to help?

Hi I have a question to ask, and get some help.
I am trying to do a howling banshee army. It is going to be 1500 points, and I will have 30 Banshees. What do you all think will work best to support them or help them to hold there own. I know that Banshees are not that good, and they have been needed. But I have 35 that I pick up and I have not used them because they are no good (not as good as they were). So if someone here can tell me what they will put on the table so these lovely ladies can have a chance for glory. I would appreciate it greatly.

I will like to do a all foot list for a battle I have coming up. Can someone give me a good idea on a good list? I have all the foot guys but Warp Spiders and Swooping Hawks. If I do a foot list can I be aggressive or do I have to sit back?

@scorpion062
  I don't have any Hornets so I have to use Vypers and they are nice (not as good but).

@Fritz40k
  I got the idea of this list from you(lol). It works good but I will like to get more out of it. I played a game against Necrons and Imperial Guard. I am 1/2/0, with my Eldar. This list almost tabled them, this list got my only win.

I will like to see if I can get some Corsairs in the list, I can take out the Falcons.
