New army

I just picked up a big Imperial Guard army. It has 4 chimera with auto-cannons and one of the Destroyer Tank Hunter in it. Will I be able to play with these?

No, you are going to need more. At the very least you'll need 2 Troops and 1 HQ. I'd recommend 2 squads of 10 Veterans with your favorite special weapon and a Company Command Squad. They could each take one of your Chimeras and you'd have the start of a great guard army.

4 chimera and a destroyer isn't much. You will have to give more details on what you bought if you want help.

4 chimera is a great start for an army. You have redundency, but you will need guys to put in it.

Okay I picked up about 50 guardsmen, 50 storm troopers, 2 Leman Russ, 1 Hydra, 2 Valkyrie, 2 Vendetta, 1 Hellhound, 6 Armoured Sentinels, 2 Taurox (not put together), 6 Chimera (2 with twin heavy bolters, 4 with auto cannons), and some more stuff that I'm trying to figure out.
I'm trying to see if I can use the Chimeras. I will put up a full list later

the question I was asking because I could actually use the Chimera with those weapons?
Can a Chimera have a auto-cannon, and 2 Heavy Bolters in the turret?

The auto-cannon is legal, but it is a Imperial Armoury upgrade. Totally 40k legal though. It is the same cost of a flamer.

Imperial Armour Volume 1.  It's a Dedicated Transport option for any Imperial Guard army.  Yes that means Astra Militarum can use it even though there was a name change.  You literally don't have to do anything special but find the points value for the weapons.  But, IA1 does have a lot of other fun stuff for Guard, so I'd consider picking that book up either way.

You should give a look at the armored battle group from forge world as well. I love there tank commander, tank commisar and special ammunitions.

I have been going over what I have, I will put a list up here. My play style is very fast and aggressive, will I be able to play that way? I see me being mech up and moving fast on the board. (I play Eldar)

IG mech is a good aggressive army. Chimeras are pretty good little tanks.

I see a few things that you can ponder on. They are not bad things, but you could shave a lot of points that way and have more stuff.

1- You love carapace. 4+ armor is fine, but between having some armor save and an extra squad I will always take the extra squad. At a 1000 pts I try to keep every thing as cheap as possible.

2- You got 7 models on the table turn 1 and they are piss poor guardsman. You want to give more target to your opponant on turn one, or you want to have something really durable, like a leman russ squadron or multiple leman russ that will soften the enemy before you drop in or dig out.

3- You got a million way to kill infantry, but almost nothing to kill meq or armor. Flamers are great, but you have to be really close for them to work. Most of the time as a guard you will only fire them on overwatch or have only one guardsman well position to fire, if you are not shot to oblivion before. I like to have 1 heavy flamer an 2 melta in my vet squad. The heavy flamer has more punch and you have a unit that can handle whatever you point it at. Especialy when you drop the squad from a valk, you want to drop it on whatever is around that needs to be dead.

Let's give it a try:

Now, your squad have synergy and you won't be scared that your only 2 squads with melta mishap or get shot down. Now you opponent have to kill all of you army to cripple your force and you start pounding the ennemy on turn one.

I remove the snipers from your CC, because you will have to move forward to support you Leman Russ, Hiding around or behind it will give you a good cover save, and you were planning on hiding them anyway so I gave them Camo Gear instead.

This list works when everybody combine there strength to overcome one enemy, when it is dead choose an other target and kill it. Rinse and repeat.

Imperial guard  tank are really easy to paper craft. My wyverns are a mix between the hydra paper model chasis (second link) and the missile pod of the model from the first link. They are great and cost almost nothing. I printed mine on tougher paper to give them structural strength.

Or you get a chimera you have and you paper craft a gun emplacement to put on to make you wyverns. Problem solve.
