The painting arrangement.
« on: January 29, 2014, 07:20:41 AM »
Hello and welcome to the painting arrangement,

This is a progressive topic where people who sometimes struggle to get painting can find some encouragement and motivation.

How it works, just post saying that you will be painting something up and then get painting, when you have done a squad or about that post a picture up and then wait for someone else to do the same all whilst leaving feedback on each others stuff and offering advice and constructive criticism. Then when you see someone else post their work you can offer your comments, encouragement and any advice you can give.

There as also a "deal" element to this topic that is optional but you can make a deal with another member for both of you to get something painted by a set point.

Thanks

Angel, Derek and Hawk  ;D

Huh. 200 pts a day. I could try that. Pics or didn't happen of course.
Don't try making a unit unkillable. its a waste of time and the dice gods laugh at you for wasting your time. Dedicate a unit to a job and make sure it does it til it's either dead or running.

Doesnt have to be in a day, it's just a personal increase on the bet between me and Angelic.  Take as much time as you need, but know the sooner you get yours in, the quicker you can move onto the next one or make a side wager of your own ;3

Got a daemon prince and 20 daemonettes I need to finish.  Feb 7th is the deadline for me.  If he manages to finish before his scheduled date I will add a unit of seekers in by the 8th!  Consider that my little personal spin on the wager ;)

Falling a little behind (Drinking at the bar with some friends was too tempting to pass up, but here's progress. Next update will feature base coats and details.

Just a quick reminder, we have a few models still looking to be posted (If the post was missed, please do post the link in here).  I'd like to keep you guys updated.

So, I am falling behind a bit on painting, but I WILL have the 20 Daemonettes and 1 Daemon Prince done in the next 16 hours or so, and then I got a day to finish the Seekers (Putting Zangetsu in a position to get those DA's done ;3)

I will be posting the WIP and finished work as always in the Motivation thread.  Let's keep this going guys, you've inspired me to get so much done, and I think we're just getting started ;3

So I decided I am gonna finish something up, and take on the Land Raider, hoping to blend in some of the colours to hide that I had to use three different sets.  My goal for completion is the 16th.  Any takers?

I best get stuck into those Dires then, you can follow my progress / updates against promises and wagers etc on my WIP thread (link in sig).

If next week's 'theme' is vehicles I have a fire prism / night spinner undercoated on my desk but not sure I can commit to that 16th time-scale as I'm away from the 13th - 17th so maybe done by the 20th? Anyone else getting involved? :D
