Hawk turquoise or the present day equivalent was used with different ratios of white for the lightning on the floor and skull spell cast thing.
same with the gemstones but used necron abyss for deep shading

Pure white spots were painted on the right side of the gems. Top surfaces of the base were painted in grey.

After the whole model was painted it was time to do the directional lighting and extra detail to make the model a little special.

That's suppose to be like an Ulthwe' eye, but instead empty at the pupil with a lightning bolt coming out of it. The background of my eldar contingent will be a band of lost survivors from different forgetten and destroyed craft worlds rallied by a Harlequin Troop. Stars on the Warlock purple side of the robes and symbols on the white belt tether.

Didn't realize how much I could get accomplished in 12 to 13 days. I had/have a day to spare to post all the progress.
So why not! Thought the inner lining was kind of plane so cherry blossoms worked perfectly to counter the big empty space of turquoise and the branches also had squiggly branches that look like black lightning. Black Lightning hmmm...  to be continued on a different project...
