Grouping Super Heavies into Classes
« on: July 03, 2014, 11:46:50 AM »
So one of my local friends had the idea of breaking super-heavies (or Lords of war) into different classes for games to make it easier to build fair, competing lists.

For instance a Reaver titan could be a Class 5 super heavy and a Storm Lord may only be a Class 1, A Warhound would could be class 4, etc.  ...So I wanted to ask you guys what your thoughts on such a class system would be and at what levels would you class various super heavies?

What do you guys think?

It makes sense to me . The gaming group I am in used to do it this way. One structure point Per thousand points of apocalypse you have so if we are playing the 10,000 points per side you can bring 10 structure points. also we use the two troop choices per structure point to. That worked fairly well so it wasn't just a bunch of superheavy beating on each other .
