Gaming table or Tabletopper for playing my wargames?
« on: September 02, 2017, 12:38:02 PM »
Should I get a $2,000 table or just a table topper($450) to play war games on. Considerations: the table is another piece of furniture that I would have to make room for or should I use a tabletopper that takes any table that I already own (kitchen , card or dinning room) and makes them into a gaming table for war gaming and I store it away when I'm not playing?   Your thoughts?

The dream of owning a dedicated gaming table is one we all share. But unless you can afford it and have somewhere to keep it probably best to stick to something you can put down on a table and pack away easier.

The big 4k one is maybe a little over priced and the play space is just a little smaller than a normal 40k 4x6.

Once my "Den" is ready I will be working on this:

I have no real building skills and I wont be using some of the tools they have listed, but seems simple enough to build.
