The purple looks pretty good to me. Very sutle, if you make it stand out more and up the contrast, I think it'll look very cartoonish.
Anyway, keep it up!

Dang, you can really tell the amount of work that went in to the drake on those closeups!  Very cool!  I'm imagining that second purple line gives it a really cool effect inside ALL those sections.

Yeah these photos were taken with my phone. I'm really considering breaking out the good camera to show you guys the overall effect. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

I really love my models. I even paint my lowly cultists with the same amount of care as my daemon prince.

I painted my first Rhino. Feedback from other sites has been mixed since people seem to like the dirty look. Since I have OCD in real life, my army has to be clean. So I will not add dirt or rust. Clean marines are my thing.
