So I've made some good progress lately and completely finished painting the monolith besides the little touch ups I'll need to do after it's all assembled.
Here are some pictures of it seeing now that I'm a wiring it up with some LEDs.

You asked about either using a glazed to tone down the green or use Ardcoat to make a glossy shine for the walls, I kind like the idea of using a glaze to blend the colors together but having a matte finish on the walls seems like it would make more sense due to the age of the monolith. Either way, looks great can't wait to see the finished product.

More progress pics... I've installed lights in the gauss
Tubes of guns using fiber optics and tubing, magnetized the rear wall of the monolith, and began placing the circuit boards in their current positions. Done 18 lights 4 more to go haha

Cool project you've got going on. Look really good, I can see it being really cool if its finished and on the board ready for a fight

Looking awesome! the Necron coming out of the portal is a really great addition and make an otherwise "faceless" model have a bit of a personality, great job over all overlord, plus needless to say will be looking forward to the vid with the lights.

;D
