Word Bearery Stuff
« on: August 02, 2017, 11:13:43 AM »
Hi, I was looking for some suggestions on how to word bearery up some of the vehicles I have. They seem to sort of lack the feel of word bearers but I don't know what to do to them. The infantry look all well but I'm stuck with the rest. Ive not painted the vehicles and sorts yet.

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated, Thanks  :)

Bitz are an easy way to go.

Chaos icons from some of the sprues.

An open book bitz from some of the space marine librarian models- paint chaos symbols on it etc.

Good bitz for Chaos come from the old now defunct Warhammer Fantasy line- lots of plastic Empire models with odd bitz that easily look chaosy.
Though my men may sleep, and my ships rest at anchor, my foes know full well that big guns never tire...

Look on my works ye mighty, and despair...

The WFB Flagellants have lots of little bells, books and scrolls you can add that help push a medieval religious theme for Word Bearers quite well.
