Really excited about this and I'm going to get it. Not only would a skirmish sized game ring my bells but the models might be great for my Dark Heresy RP games too.

I would love to see some space hulk action! It would be cool to get my hands on it without having to pay $300+ and play it with my buddies.

I think it'll be BB but I'd really love to see Space Hulk. It would make sense as they're just about to release the video game, which looks awesome btw!

Would love it to be space hulk, since they just brought the game out on steam, plus I really want a copy of space hulk. Pretty sure it sold well last time they released it too.

I would doubt they'd release space hulk again for some time. Although it would sell like hot cakes, I'm glad I got one.

Dread fleet was good as well I found, but a lot of people seemed to dismiss it, I don't know why.

Next box I would imagine something like bloodbowl, I loved that game,  so a reprint would be cool.

However what I'd love to see is as previously mentioned warhammer quest, my all time favourite game, I own the old one with all expansions, apart from the bretonian knight, which I've never been able to get. If they did do warhammer quest though I'd hate to see what the price tag would be...

While its just a rumor and plenty of salt is required, I read over on Faeit who got his info of blood of kittens that the next mystery box isn't blood bowl but a Skirmish game called Warhammer 40K Inquisition. It makes sense tho, I think a 40K Skirmish game will sell better than Blood Bowl and It could work as a Gateway into 40K as they are saying it will be 28mm not 54mm like Inquisitor. Designed for 2-4 players and 5-10 models per army, with new models drawn from Blanches artwork. This could also be why the are supporting the fan made movie Lord Inquisitor as it will make a nice tie-in. Anyway here is links to both articles, you decide how true-

That would be amazing, I've got the rulebook and have been interested in reviving inquisitor in my gaming club, but the rules are solo complex that I'm afraid it will bore a lot of people! Hopefully the box set will bring inquisitor back to life!

Any updates on this I wonder?

Now that we are past the Space Marine rumors, and well into the 'nid rumors hopefully more on the mystery box will be coming out soon...

Rumors now are that Dark Elves are coming with a bunch of new plastic kits but I don't know how that effects the mystery box. Some people are saying there won't even be one that Apoc was this years off standard release, but I don't really believe it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Inquisitor Skirmish game.

it seems like more and more rumors are pointing to this not happening :(. The silver lining is it means i'll have more money for Nidvember!

hopefully we'll get some solid Tyranid rumors soon, it seems alot of the stuff we had heard was made up.

It looks like, and with Nidd ember deferred to Tyranuary, a mystery box is back on the cards. Faeit and other sites are reporting rumours of a game called Innocence out alongside a second wave of Dark Elves in November.

I'm a little disappointed that GW apparently (who knows these are all haven't still only rumours) chosen to revisit one of their great systems of the past (Blood Bowl or Warhammer Quest were really exciting prospects). But a new Skirmish game would also be great fun so I'll certainly pick this up if it happens.

Having missed out on Spacehulk (and Dreadfleet), I'm pretty excited about this year's mystery box.

The Blood Bowl rumours strike me as a little bit strange, since you can still buy the current Blood Bowl from GW's site (in the UK, at least). That said, it's probably my favourite GW game, so a fancy reboot would be great.

The Inquisition skirmish game is a slightly different proposition since the wealth of other skirmish games out there actually provide a good excuse to pursue a brief fling with a non-GW system. Of course, I have fond memories of playing Necromunda, so if they came up with something similar I might be interested. The key thing for me, I think, will be whether the game provides some sort of progression/team building system (in my opinion, this is what makes Blood Bowl and Necromunda really shine), and whether it is playable 'out of the box'. In this latter case, it could be a good introductory game to initiate non-wargamers into the joys of 40k.

I'm still holding out for a new edition of Warhammer Quest though - this would be my favourite option by far. I missed the original the first time around, but it's always been a game that I would love to play.

I really hope they have ideas beyond Mystery Box releases to be honest.

OK, if Innocence is a 28mm scale (and I really think it will be) Skirmish game with models of the quality of Space Hulk then I'l be on it. Not only for smaller more detailed games, but I also play Dark Heresy so that'll sort that out in one go. And any Chaos, Sisters of Battle or Grey Knight players may well want it just for the models. It would be nice if they gave it support past launch though (unless it has 40 models and you play with 6 a side and has 30+ scenarios).

But for other games I really think it's time to for GW to either let go as a licensed product or buy up one of these smaller mini companies to deal with it full time.

Now for mini games with compatible miniatures, such as Necromunda, Space Hulk or Modenheim, I can see why they wouldn't want another company to do that, but they could by a smallish company with a decent record (of which there are many) to support the game full time.

But for games with their own models that aren't compatible, such as Battlefleet Gothic, Man O War, Epic 40k, Mighty Empires and even Blood Bowl really. They could easily license it out to a company like FFG and then just take the money.
