With the preview in the March White Dwarf that we're getting the Ultramarine's Primarch Roboute Guilliman finally sculpted in a 3 figure plastic set that includes our own fallen angel Cypher along with the Grey Knights Grand Master Lord Voldus for $90.

When do you think we'll finally get our own Primarch?  I'm personally hoping that the Lion will be out before the end of the year.

If Lion is suppose to be roughly the same size as Guilliman, I think he would be awesome looking.  He's taller then a terminator but looks shorter then a dreadnought.  But I think his base is the same size as a dreadnoughts. Guilliman's sculpt looks fantastic and while I don't play Ultramarines, if I did I would use the version with his head showing and not the helmeted version.  I am very anxious to see the stats they give him.  It's also implied in the WD that he will become the defacto leader of the Imperium.

I'm also curious in the fiction aspect of the Gathering Storm storyline how Cypher will interact working alongside Guilliman.  It does say in WD that the three figures along with others do work together getting to Terra.  What is Cypher's plans once he gets there?  To present to the dying husk of the Emperor the Lion's sword?  Only the Emperor and the Watchers of the Dark know where Lion is.  Does somehow giving the sword bring about some ancient magic which will awaken the Lion?  I hope so since I really want our Primarch to come to life and be able to field him dressed in his black army along side my Dark Angels army.

I've been into 40K for about 15 years now building, painting, adding on new units and updating my DA army when a new edition comes out.  Watched three 40K groups come in and later dissolve at the venue I frequent and right now I'm it until possible the 8th edition rules come out.  I like casual friendly games for fun, not cutthroat which all of the groups eventually became and I felt like it caused them to break apart.  But at the same time I have always loved reading any and all fiction regarding the Dark Angels.

Love the post honestly. Personally I have been asking myself when will Johnson and the DA start to feel the love. He does not even have rules in 30k and was hopping he would be the first loyalist back which unfortunately did not happen and instead we got Guilliman which is nice but not what I was hopping for. I hope we get him before the end of the Year and I just posted more about this over here http://thewarmaster.com/index.php?topic=7755.0.

I'd expect another daemon Primarch first (my money on either Mortarion or Fulgrim) but I would expect either the Lion or Russ.

Thanks for the replies.  I started the other thread over in the rumors sections since it seemed like no one was going to post in this one.  I'm anxious for our Lion to show period.  But at the same time, I worry if he comes out to early he stats might be weaker then some who show up later.  DA already got no love when previous codex's came out early then later loyal codex's came out with better weapons and stats.

If our next one is a traitor Primarch.  Myself I think I would want the surviving twin of the Alpha Legion. Granted I have never built any traitor group or have much interest in them, but I do like the teal and silver color pattern I've seen before in WD the best of all the traitor factions.

I personally do think they will do another traitor legion first. Also I as well have a soft spot for the alpha legion, which I find ironic the similarities between the 1st and 20th legions. Their 30k models look so amazing as well. However I heard form a friend that Fulgrim might be the next back since he was the one to "kill" Guilliman in the first place.
