New edition so obviously we don't know what works and what doesn't.

I think that now everything is able to take Gate of Infinity is super awesome. Especially now that they can charge after Deep Striking or using the power. It will solve a lot of our problems when it comes to getting to objectives when we need too. Hammerhand is also a nice one and its hard to choose between the two. I think I may even try and find the points to upgrade to a GM for the extra power so he can cast Hammerhand on nearby boys.

I will be hanging the Brother Captian back with the Dreads for the double ranged Smite though I might be better off taking the GM and putting him up with the NDK's and Termies for the rerolls of 1's to hit. I am not sure which of the two I prefer just yet.

Also the New Vindicare looks like he could give Characters a bit of a scare I might need to include one.

Anyways first list and would love some feedback.

First of all, awesome to see someones first crack at a list. ;D

Now one thing I'm wondering about, if you play 3 Terminator squads, why not drop either a Dreadknight/Dreadnought and grab yourself that Grandmaster you were talking about? That way you can use the Battalion (?) detachement instead for those extra command points.

Just a couple remarks in case you didn't know: Dreadnoughts  don't know any psychic power than smite, and you can only cast one power per turn. So sadly, we don't get to jump around the board all game long. Also, don't underestimate the power of Purge Soul. A Grandmaster/Brother captain (Ld9) alongside an ancient (+1 to Ld within 6") can put out quite alot of mortal wounds per turn with that power.

Like you said, we don't really know what works yet and what doesn't, but overall it looks like a solid list, and I would be curious to how it performs.

1.Since there are two ranged Dread loadouts (dual auto/lasmissle), I'd be curious which one you think performs better. Also, now that Razorbacks are alot more durable, what about taking just empty Razorbacks with twin assault cannons instead of auto dreads? You get you get 4 shots more, albeit at S6 and less range.

2. Terminators vs. Paladins. I personally don't really see the point of Terminators anymore compared to Paladins due to their recent price hike. I'd like to know if you can get them to work in one way or another.

3. Also, Psycannons vs. Psilencers. Maybe you can switch around which ones you use, since I feel like psycannons have gotten worse on TDA  now that we've lost relentless and psycannons don't rend on 6's anymore. And now that Psilencers are so cheap and don't need to be activated via force anymore, I was wondering if they might be a suitable alternative.

All in all, this looks pretty awesome. Go play a couple of games with this list and give feedback on how your army worked! :D

Sooooooooo I actually stuffed up the points cost of the Dreadnoughts. I didn't realise that the GK's had different points costs.

You are right about Purge Soul. I actually like all of the GK's powers actually. I also like the generic Marines ones as well I can see them being rather brutal.

As for the Assault Cannon Razorback you have a good point. I don't actually own any but I could look into buying a few. I am actually thinking that stirkes squads might not suck anymore so I have put one in to test out.

Here is a corrected list. I have also changed around the NDK's I am curious as to which Melee weapon I will like the most.
