Forgeworld brass scorpion project
« on: December 15, 2013, 12:37:26 PM »
Hi there

so here is my new projekt
in my gaming group we like to play in different ways and see different and amazing models. this is more important for us than the "wysiwyg" thing. army-lists are showed to the enemy every time so we dont need that.

the idea was to start an army of chaos with a lot of forgeworld stuff and also big models.
we have agreed to play that beautiful model as two defilers and just ad the attacks, shoots etc. and you can target his left and his right side. if one side is destroyed he looses half of his shoots (so only one defiler remains)

at the moment i try to figure out how to paint this thing.
i like the "cloudy" look at the forgeworld model, but i want to try something different, so i photoshopped a pic i found.

what do you think of the color and the pattern?
i know its khorn but we are not that strict with the fluff...

best regards from germany and i hope you all have a great christmas and you can celebrate a bit with your family and friends and enjoy the things in life that are REALLY important.

hannes

Does the model already have that scaly texture on the plates or did you free hand that?
Don't try making a unit unkillable. its a waste of time and the dice gods laugh at you for wasting your time. Dedicate a unit to a job and make sure it does it til it's either dead or running.
