Hi Guys,

I've been asked by TheOverlord to be the 'team leader' for team #2. Now I know were not actually allowed to start putting paint on our models until the 4th BUT we can certainly come up with something collectively that beats 'TEAM #2' as a team name. I thought we might be able to tie it in with what people will predominantly be painting and make a name off the back of that but I have no idea what your all planning on painting in the comp.

Team #2 consists of:
Zangetsu
Almost Mercury
Ronnie Law
Nitrodavid

Also just a quick bit of info about me and my focus on armies, I'm a biel tan eldar player / collector primarily but I dapple in black legion CSM, Dark angels and also some old school imperial guard praetorians. I'm also in the process of creating some showcase terrain pieces for terrain commission work and have several pieces needing completion by the middle of August so I have plenty of stuff that needs doign and also a lot of potential stuff I can do after my initial eldar bits.

For me I have loads to get done and my plans are as follows:

Zang's august paint list:

Autarch on jetbike with mantle,
5 x striking scorpions,
2 wave serpents,
crimson hunter,
5 x warp spiders,

on top of this I have a tyranid drop pod to paint and an ork mek shop to build and paint.

So, what do you guys collect, what are you looking to paint in August and how do you think we can keep each other motivated to get through everything and beat the other teams!

G'day

i will be painting these models over the next 3 months (most likely in this order), keep in mind these came from the Tyranid Swarm box and that is my first painting experience.

> 10 Hormagaunts ( to finish my set of 40)
> 10 gargoyles
> 4 ripper swarms
> 8 warriors (3 standard, 5 fully magnetized, ill see how i go)
> 1 Tyranid Prime (first attempt at more detailed basing)
> 2 Zoanthropes & venomthropes

and if still any time left
> Carnafix (Magnetized)
> Flyrants (Magnetized)(very detailed base)

Apparently i cant just paste links from my google drive paint photo folder, so here is a picture of my Leviathan scheme

this is what the hormagunts will look like. Note i will base the 10 i will paint in the comp with the other 30 already painted, as it saves me time and effort.

Hey guys, Martin here,

So what have I gt to do in the next 3 months??? Or more importantly what am I going to TRY to do in the next 3 'Sarro Kahnmonths.

WHITE SCARS

Thunderhawk - Finish build and paint plus base needs more work.
40+ bikes all with conversions
New Kor'sarro Kahn on bike conversion
2 rhino alterations
3 scouts
10 devastators
Weathering on all models

MISC

1 x Ultramarine Dreadnaught
Star Wars Speeder Bike
Anything else I do for my YouTube channel

NURGLE

Reaver Titan
Warhound Titan
Heldrake (3 to paint)
Plague Hulk
3 x Blight Drones
20 x Plague Bearers
Great Unclean One
3 x Deimos Predators
3 x Vindicators
2 x Imperial Knights
105 x Zombies
28 x Plague Marines
10 x Grave Wardens
5 x Death Shroud
Typhus
Typhon
Mortarian
3 x Obliterators
3 x Mutilators
3 x Demon Princes
Multiple Characters (Warpsmith, Apostle etc)

ELDAR

Wraith Knight
Wraith Lord
12 x Wraith Guard
2 x Spirit Seers
Wave Serpent
8 x Swooping Hawks

None of the Death Guard stuff is painted and a lot not even built so can score points for big models and conversion. Scars are all base coated and Thunderhawk is mid build and mid paint. Eldar is all base coated and is the last of my wishes to do but if we need some quick and easy points then I can throw them in.

Does everything have to be fully paited to count?? Also can you add commitment as we go along or do I have to declare what I will get done??

as far as I knwo you dont have to declare anything up front and you can be working on multiple models at a time, the only requirement is that painting doesnt start till the 4th and you can get everything assempled / primed before the 4th. you need to take a picture of whatever your working on with a time stamp for 'validation' but thats it.

I just listed what i'm doing because it helps me to plan it out, you can be as random with it or as organised as you like. :D

Ok guys 4 days to go, need to hear from Almost Mercury and our latest team member Sergeant Shamrock and what his plans are. We also need to get cracking with a team name.

Martin's suggested the Knights watch I quite like this but also want to offer one of my own, Paint by numbers.

Anyway collective decision, suggestions welcome!

Scrap Knight Watch as it's nothing to do with painting. Not keen on paint by number either soz John.

How about something like, In the grim dark brushstroke, or Brushhammer, 40,000 bristles    ????
